Tracy and her son Jack live amongst the lush landscape of Haiku located on the north shore of Maui. They wanted to have their session in the fields across from their home. I love having photo sessions in locations that are special to my clients. I believe it adds an inner depth and meaning to the portraits. They also brought along some trucker hats and sunglasses for a few fun shots! Good times! Thanks for such a lovely afternoon guys!
Last week I had a great time location hopping around Maui's North Shore with Miss Marjorie. We started in the middle of the road in Olinda. I've had my eye on this location for a while. I absolutely love the enormous eucalyptus trees that line the side of the road. When I first came across this spot I envisioned a beautiful lady at the end of the road wearing a flowing skirt with a sassy vibe. It worked out perfectly. After we finished dodging cars :), we headed down to Haiku for a few sunny, palm shots. It's not always sunny in Haiku. It's actually one of the rainiest parts of the island, so I wanted to take full advantage of the glowing sun through the lush foilage. To top off the session we raced down to the North Shore near Paia. We scrambled across the lava rocks and the wind was playing beautifully with her flowing skirt. Thanks again for such a fun shoot, Marjorie! You are beautiful inside and out!
