Adventure elopement inspiration in Smith Rock State Park near Bend, Oregon
I’ve always dreamed of shooting an adventure elopement at Smith Rock State Park near Bend, Oregon and these two made my dreams come true! This was a perfect example of a laid back elopement with me. No frills. Just true love and a fun adventure in one of the most beautiful locations in Central Oregon.
Reagan did her own hair and makeup and her dress was from Bespoke Bride, located in Bend. Bespoke is a great place to try on a variety of wedding dress styles for your elopement.
Smith Rock State Park is such a cool place to visit. The rocks are volcanic and are said to have formed 30 million years ago. It’s rock climbers heaven. There are a bunch of routes you can climb that range from beginner to advanced. People come from around the world to climb at this magical location. A plethora of hiking trails are throughout the park from day hikes to backpacking adventures. It’s a must if you’re traveling through Central Oregon!
After we did some adventuring along the Crooked River we had their intimate ceremony overlooking Smith Rock State Park and the valley below. They said their vows. They laughed. They cried. And they had a little dance party cuz you gotta have a little fun on your wedding day! I’m so grateful to have met these two and have new friends.
