LGBTQ+ Intimate Summer Wedding in Hug Point, Oregon

Shaylynn and Ash wanted to have an intimate wedding on the Oregon Coast this summer with family and close friends AND have a private adventure together to read their vows, so we did both!

We started the day with getting ready photos at their Airbnb in Rockaway Beach. I arrived when Shaylynn was finishing her hair and makeup with Alyssa Underwood. She is one of my favorite artists based in the Northern Oregon Coast! Then we headed out to the beach for a first look and it was one of the sweetest moment’s I’ve ever witnessed! The excitement and love these two have for each other was really incredible to witness.

Cliffside Elopement on the Oregon Coast

Then we hopped in our cars and adventured to one of my favorite cliffside locations near Cannon Beach. It’s a quick hike with epic views overlooking the ocean and provides a beautiful contrast to the beach location for their ceremony. They said private vows to each other and took some time to enjoy the ocean breeze while admiring nature’s beauty. I love giving my couple’s time to relax and soak it all in. I believe it’s SO important on what can be a hectic day!

Then we headed to Hug Point for their beach ceremony with friends and family. We were greeted by Adria with Oregon Beach Ceremonies. She has such a calm, grounding energy which is welcomed on a hectic wedding day. She did an incredible job of organizing everyone and held such a beautiful space for the ceremony. They incorporated some special activities like knot tying and walking over the threshold. I love that each wedding is unique depending on what is most important to the couple!
