Millers Landing Boat Charter Elopement in Seward Alaska
Megan and Briana booked my full day elopement experience for their adventure elopement in Seward, Alaska last summer. We had originally planned to go on a morning helicopter trip to explore the nearby glaciers and mountains and then enjoy a boat charter in the afternoon, but the weather report was not looking good. So we decided to move everything up a couple days. It wasn’t particularly ideal because they were arriving town that day but I’m so glad we did because the weather ended up perfect!
For their boat charter, we booked with Miller’s Landing and lucked out big time—we had the owner himself as our captain. The entire experience was unreal. As we cruised through the bay, we learned about Alaska’s rich culture, spotted incredible wildlife, and took in the breathtaking coastal views.
There’s something so special about saying your vows out on the open water, surrounded by towering cliffs, rugged coastline, and endless ocean. It was peaceful, intimate, and completely free of distractions—just the two of them, soaking in every moment together.
We spent the rest of the day exploring hidden coves, watching sea otters float by, and witnessing glaciers calving right into the water. The raw beauty of Alaska surrounded us at every turn, and it was the perfect reflection of Megan and Briana’s adventurous spirits.
If there’s anything Megan and Briana’s elopement proves, it’s that you can do whatever the hell you want on your wedding day. Seriously. Want to spend the day on a boat? Let’s do it. Prefer to hike to a secluded mountaintop? I’m there. Dreaming of a cozy cabin elopement in the middle of the Alaskan wilderness? Let’s make it happen.
There are no rules, no expectations—just you, your love, and an experience that feels like home and completely true to you.
