Moody Full Day Elopement in the Southern Oregon Coast

Madison and Brian started to plan a traditional wedding but quickly realized that it was only for their families and not what they really wanted. They envisioned something much smaller and focused on them as a couple. Eloping along the Southern Oregon coast ended up being the perfect way for them to celebrate their commitment to each other and ensure the day was special to them. Traveling has been a big part of their relationship and they took their first vacation together to Oregon. So they decided to plan an intimate elopement along the rocky coastline. Even though they were eloping they still wanted to do some of the traditional wedding things (like first look, dancing, champagne, etc.), so we made sure to include those elements throughout their full elopement day.

Elopement days don’t always go as planned especially regarding the weather, but these two took the rainy forecast in stride and still had an incredible adventure! It ended up down-pouring during the exact time we planned for their Secret Beach ceremony, so we grabbed umbrellas and went for it. Some of my favorite photos from their elopement day are the ones running in the rain with the umbrellas. The rain drops falling from the sky created a magical depth in the images. I absolutely love it! After their ceremony we drove north in hopes for clearer skies and we got lucky. We had perfect conditions with those moody, foggy Pacific Northwest vibes. We explored one of my favorite locations along the coast, had the place all to ourselves, popped champagne, and giggled along the way!

SECRET BEACH ELOPEMENT CEREMONY

After their cozy getting ready photos in their oceanfront Airbnb we headed to Secret beach for their ceremony! It was raining like hell, but we went for it and had this spot all to ourselves. We laughed, cried, and ran around like little kids in the rain. I know rain is a couples worst nightmare butttt some of these rainy photos are my absolute favorite of all time! There is something super magical about the rain drops falling from the sky and creating a a sense of the depth in the images. I love it!

SISTERS ROCK OREGON ELOPEMENT ADVENTURE

After their rainy ceremony at Secret Beach we headed north for clear skies! We ended up in one of my favorite locations along the Oregon Coast and had the most wonderful moody vibes with the fog rolling in. Sisters Rock is an incredible location in Southern Oregon that reminds me of Ireland with the rolling green hills and rocky coastline. We were the only humans there exploring and that is just another reason why I’m in love with adventure elopements along the Southern coastline in Oregon!
