Oregon Coast Elopement at Hug Point near Cannon Beach
I absolutely adore Oregon Coast elopements!! Bree and Mark had a perfect elopement day on the Oregon Coast at Hug Point earlier this summer. It was a foggy, drizzly day. My favorite conditions for those moody Pacific Northwest vibes. We started at their Airbnb in Cannon beach for getting ready photos and a first look. Their pup greeted me at the door and was ready to fetch his special ball all day (make sure to check out the photo below!). I just love it when my couples bring their furry friends to elopements. They always bring the smiles to our faces and create such a chill, relaxed vibe for the day. Laid back elopements in Oregon are my fave!
Cannon Beach is a great place to stay for your Oregon elopement or intimate wedding. There are tons of cute houses to rent with hot tubs that are walking distance to the beach. You’ll also have a variety of shops and yummy restaurants nearby. Arch Cape is also a nice area with a long stretch of homes overlooking the beach. There are plenty of beaches to explore, amazing surf spots, and incredible hiking trails in the area. It’s only about an hour drive from Portland, so it’s a perfect destination if you’re flying into the city and want to explore an epic area that’s not too far away.

HUG POINT BEACH INTIMATE WEDDING IN OREGON
After getting ready photos and a first look we headed to Hug Point for their intimate wedding on the beach with their family. The cloudy conditions were perfect and we were the only ones on the beach. This location can be popular since it’s a close drive from Portland, so there are usually some other beachgoers around. I honestly couldn’t believe we were the only ones there. Sometimes you just get lucky on the Oregon Coast!

CLIFFSIDE ADVENTURE ELOPEMENT PHOTOS IN OREGON
After running around on the beach we went for a little hike to one of my favorite cliffside locations on the Oregon Coast! This spot is such a great option for epic elopement photos. It’s barely a hike and super close to Cannon Beach, so it doesn’t take long to capture mind-blowing photos and get back to your wedding party!

After their sunset photos on the cliff they headed back to their Airbnb to enjoy some mac and cheese pizza (ummm yes please!) from Angelina’s Pizzeria. Pizza has become a favorite among my elopement couples. It’s easy, yummy, and offers a wide variety of flavors for everyone to enjoy. I can’t wait to try the mac and cheese pizza next time I’m in Cannon Beach!
